Our Beer Range
We currently stock 30 different German beers for your drinking pleasure. Please drink responsibly!
Helles Beers
The most popular German beer style currently in both Germany and the UK. A traditional light ("bright" from the Greek Helios) beer style both refreshing and satisfying without the spicy hops found in a pilsner beer.
Pilsner Beers
What everyone thinks of when you mention a German beer. More bitter than the Helles beers and the style borrowed from the original Czech Pilsner Style.
Kolsch Beers
Kolsch is a top fermented local beer style from Koln (Cologne) characterised by a light fruity yeast note as well as a pleasent hoppy bitterness.
Wheat Beers
Weissbier is brewed with a large proportion of wheat relative to the amount of malted barley. This produces a beer with little to no bitterness with a sweet maltiness and possible notes of vanilla, honey, orange and banana.
Something Different
Kostritzer Schwarzbier. A full bodied black lager that is uniquely satisfying but suprisingly light and refreshing.
Monschoff Kellerbier. A naturally cloudy, amber beer style - enormously satisfying and our current favourite of the products we have available.
Dortmunder Union Export is a pale, light lager beer with soft rounded characteristics unique to the Dortmund region and is distinctive enough to be classed as a seperate beer style to its cousin Helles beer.
